I'm trying to get my son his vision therapy apart of his IEP in school. The district is not cooperating stating that vision therapy is not a traditional therapy and if is medically and not educationally instituted they would not provide it. Does not not make sense since they provide physical therapy and ot and speech for medical reasons. Does anyone have any experience in a supportive school system or getting their district to cooperate? I really need to proceed with this since half the year is over all ready.
