According to a study published by the American Ophthalmological Society 2004, sinus disease may cause a person to develop strabismus. But the conclusion of the study goes on to say that this association is "difficult to prove."

Here's an interesting study about the relationship between the brain and the eyes. Scientists are learning new things about this which are important, according to the article, "because every time a surgeon manipulates the muscles around the eye it might interfere with these abilities."
